
Naturopathic Physician
Dr. Christine James received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University. She is also certified in Acutonics Sound Healing and Aesthetic Medicine. She is passionate about Women’s Health and Integrative Cardiovascular Care. She received advanced training in preventive and cardiovascular care through an 8-month externship at Eastside Cardiology. Dr James continues to work closely with cardiologists to develop an integrative and evidence-based program for patients at risk for or struggling with heart disease. Dr. James' approach to health care is unique in that it integrates functional and natural medicine with conventional methods. She has a strong interest in the management of lipid disorders, women’s heart disease, heart failure and the prevention of heart disease. As a primary care provider Dr. James performs thorough annual exams for women, while helping her patients select the best options for birth control, perimenopausal and postmenopausal support therapies, as well as a wide variety of bio-identical hormone therapies. She considers all aspects of health including physical, mental, emotional and psycho-spiritual when assessing a patient. Dr. James believes that the wisdom of the body, mindfulness practice and self-awareness are keys to empowering women. Her compassionate and attentive style supports women in a more authentic, healthier, intuitive, and connected experience of life in all stages.
